Hundru Falls is formed at the River Subarnarekha, which flow through the city. It is named as highest water falls in Ranchi which ranks 34th in the list of India. Its water falls from the elevation of 98 meter i.e. 322 feet creating an awesome view of cascading water. Hundru falls is one of the favorite picnic spots during summer season. Subarnarakha River is basically a monsoon river which turns wild during this season. The continuous fall of water makes big pool at the base which is mostly used to take bath by visitors.
